THE PRODIGAL CHURCH

 

Has your or is your church leaving the traditions that God told us to stand fast on, to follow after man’s purpose driven, seeker sensitive, church growth movement? 

The way you can know if  your church is following after this 21^st century church movement is that they are using the new age words such as, the unchurched, unity, community, accountability, contemplative prayer, and vision casting or using Rick Warren’s books or programs. I would suggest you get online and do your own homework.

In these churches you will no longer be allowed to have bible studies, Sunday school, or Precept Classes as you know them, but you will be required to join a community group, where you can discuss God’s word and how you feel about it, and be accountable to the others in your group.  For this church deals with feeling and needs, especially to the unchurched.

These churches are also a place of entertainment rather than a place of worship, they will have events and bands come in to lure the unchurched masses in. Also their pastors must be excellent speakers and be able to tell a good story to hold the attention of their audience. They’ve also changed the fellowship hall into a café. These churches no longer look like a church, but a place of entertainment. They don’t even refer to them as churches, but a campus.

Know you will also now be under the total authority of this new church leadership network, not God’s, and if you question the leadership, know they will ostracize you, saying that by not obeying them, you are not obeying God. You will be called a Pharisee, told not to take communion, and if you can’t get on board with us, you are serving Satan.  They will use one sentence from the scriptures out of context to justify their behavior, when the actual meaning of the whole scripture may be just the opposite. This is why God tells us in His word, not to put our trust in any man.

As these churches preach that you are to love one another and serve your community, they themselves are showing zero love for the true bible following Christians, who usually are the pillars of the church, who built the church and have led people to Jesus Christ, growing the body of the church.

These churches run on a business format.  Pastor-CEO, Elders-Executives, Group Leaders-Management, and the Congregation – You, their workers.  You will know you have a CEO, when the pastor talks about vision casting, and that he will not pray with you, marry you, or speak at a loved one’s funeral, for he has his own life, his own family, and it’s not you. (Vision Casting, as it’s called, means making your idea of your business known. You share your vision with those responsible for seeing it through. Plan the best strategy for implementing your vision, be persistent and inspire others to buy into your vision.)

Please know that when a church requires you to submit to the authority of the leadership of a church and follow them blindly and cannot question their authority, this is no longer a church, but a business under the rule of the corporate pyramid.

It is time for those of us who are sitting in the pews to pray and ask GOD for discernment so that we will see any wrong path the church, it’s elders or pastors are taking and that you would be able to act in response to them to bring the church back to being GOD’s church based on His word, not man’s vision.

It is also time to pray for the pastor and elders that the scales would drop from their eyes and that they would see whether they are following the will of GOD for His church or the path of a man’s vision casting.  Pray from the heart and with love for the prodigal church, that they will return to God’s church created for His saints and away from man’s church designed to entertain the unchurched.

KNOW THE DIFFERENCE CHRISTIAN OR CHRIST-FOLLOWER

 Accordingly, Christians are people of the faith, clearly set forth in the Word of God, but Christ followers will be people of faith—that is, any faith or religion. Christians believe that the right doctrine and theology—in other words, the right faith—are essential for salvation, but Christ-followers will believe that doctrine and theology are irrelevant because what you do is more important than what you believe. Christians believe there is only one truth, clearly set forth in God’s Word of truth, but Christ-followers will believe there is truth in every religion.

⁸ Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit,

according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles

COLLOSIANS  2 : 8

As a Christian we know all the wonderful things Christ did in His ministry while here on this earth.  And all religions will admit the services Jesus teaches us to do are good for all mankind. To feed the hungry, provide water, housing, clothing and care for the sick and imprisoned. All these the world can come together in community, unity and serve, following in the steps of Jesus’ teachings. So no matter what faith, what religion you are, you can be a Christ-follower.

2 CORINTHIANS  6 : 14

Community, unity, service and following in the steps of Jesus has become the main teachings of the church, rather than the gospel of Jesus Christ.

⁴⁶ Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, 

and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer 

and to rise from the dead the third day,

⁴⁷ and that repentance and remission of sins should be 

preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

LUKE  24 : 46, 47

If you want to be a Christ-follower, just believe and receive and you are now a member of God’s family.  It’s all about love and only love. They are never told they must admit they are sinners and must repent from their sins and that Jesus died on the cross for their sins to save then from God’s wrath, and only when Jesus sends His Holy Spirit to live in them will their eyes be opened to God’s truth. That Jesus in the only way to God the Father and heaven.

⁶ Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.

No one comes to the Father except through Me.

JOHN  14 : 6

How instead of waiting for God’s calling on your life to serve Him, the church now demands you join a community or small group.  They’ll give you a questionnaire to decide where they can use you for their vision, their goal.  Know if you question them they’ll say you are causing confusion and upsetting the unity of the church.  They will ostracize you and even call you a Pharisee for not following their vision, their goals.

The true Christians know this is not biblical and you should know that you are now the enemy of this Christ-follower church.  For we can not and will not be apart of this one world community, unity serving church

Inevitably, with unity at all costs becoming the foundation of the world and churches, Christian is already becoming a brand of shame. In the emerging new world, Christian says that you are intolerant, divisive, religiously bigoted, judgmental, and legalistic. In other words, Christian says to the world that you believe when God says there is only one way to God and none other that God actually means it. The world never has tolerated this faith very well.

THE FALSE UNITY

 Jesus said My sheep hear My voice, not just the shepherds.  We are all equal in God’s eyes. 

⁶ But from those who seemed to be something—whatever they were,

it makes no difference to me; God shows personal favoritism to no man—

for those who seemed to be something added nothing to me.

GALATIANS  2 : 6

A true shepherd is one of God sheep. All are to follow Jesus Christ, not man.

²⁷ My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

That’s why God warns us over and over about false shepherds, false teachers and false prophets.

²⁸ Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock,

among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers,

to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

²⁹ For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves

will come in among you, not sparing the flock.

³⁰ Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things,

When a pastor stops bible studies and precept classes, for his vision, he has closed the living word of God from God’s flock.

¹² For the word of God is living and powerful,

and sharper than any two-edged sword,

piercing even to the division of soul and spirit,

and of joints and marrow,

and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

¹³ And there is no creature hidden from His sight,

but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him

to whom we must give account.

¹³ Till I come, give attention to reading,

to exhortation, to doctrine.

1 TIMOTHY  4 : 13

When a pastor says all must serve, all must join one of his community groups, one no longer is answering God’s calling, but the pastor’s demands.

²³ You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.

1 CORINTHIANS  7 : 23

¹¹ But one and the same Spirit works all these things,

distributing to each one individually as He wills.

1 CORINTHIANS  12 : 11

When a pastor will not address the concerns of a group of God’s children, but only one on one, know it is because he can not intimidate the group, but he can intimidate one on one.

³ nor as being lords over those entrusted to you,

but being examples to the flock;

1 PETER  5 : 3

You know he is a false shepherd when he uses God’s pulpit to intimidate those who have concerns. When the pastor causes confusion by doing away with bible studies, precept classes and your monthly communion and people question him, he will blame you for what he has done, saying you are causing confusion and disrupting the unity of the church by questioning him. You will be called a Pharisee from the pulpit and be told you shouldn’t take communion. You will be persecuted for standing on God’s word.

¹¹ “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you,

and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.

MATTHEW  5 : 11

¹⁴ If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you,

for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.

On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.

1 PETER  4 : 14

He’ll also require you to sign a covenant with him, putting you under his will, his authority, instead of God’s, and they will use this false covenant to put you out of the church, for questioning him and not following his vision, his dream.

³² Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,”

says the LORD, “and tell them, and cause My people to err

by their lies and by their recklessness. Yet I did not send them

or command them; therefore they shall not profit this

people at all,” says the LORD.

JEREMIAH  23 : 32

he himself does not receive the brethren, and forbids those who wish to,

putting them out of the church.

So if your pastor and elders bring in Rick Warren’s 40 Days of Community, welcome to your mind control classes. These are to bring you into unity with the pastor’s will, his vision, his purpose.

"It changed our church!"  "It's amazing!"  "Transforming!  "The fellowship is awesome!"  "We're growing!"...

The chorus of praise for Rick Warren's "40 Days" programs sounds impressive, but it's not surprising. 

The dynamics behind the facilitated small group -- the heart of the 40 Days process -- are both exhilarating and transformative. But they're neither new nor Biblical.  They are merely postmodern adaptations of the old Gestalt Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Esalen-based encounter groups and all the other expressions of the Human Potential movement that helped transform western culture in the 60s and 70s. 

This social transformation had been planned decades earlier. [See Steps toward Global Mind Control] By 1948, when the World Health Organization (a UN agency) had established its anti-Christian "Mental Health" program, globalist visionaries in both Europe and North America were experimenting with behavioral psychology as a means to eradicate traditional values and Biblical absolutes. They hoped to "un-freeze" minds and release them from the old values, promote open-mindedness to their revolutionary ideas, fill minds with pluralistic values, and then "re-freeze" the new collective views in the public consciousness.
They succeeded! Working through UNESCO's education program, WHO's global mental health program, national and local governments around the world, the mainstream media and countless private and non-governmental agencies around the world, they fueled the social forces that shaped today's postmodern mind and culture. Liberal churches were among the first to embrace the postmodern thinking, but soon evangelical churches began to accommodate the rising cultural resistance to absolute truth and moral boundaries. To grow, they argued, churches must trade God's unchanging Word for feel-good adaptations.

Know your bible studies and precept classes were stopped, because he doesn’t want groups of God’s children talking about their concerns with each other on what he is doing to God’s church.

This is Satan at his finest. Deceiving God’s flock with these false shepherds, who have transformed themselves into ministers of righteousness.

¹³ For such are false apostles, deceitful workers,

transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.

¹⁴ And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms

himself into an angel of light.

¹⁵ Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also

transform themselves into ministers of righteousness,

whose end will be according to their works.

2 CORINTHIANS  11 : 13 – 15

This purpose driven emergent church has spread like wild fire around the world thanks to Rick Warren, Saddleback church and Bill Hybels, Willow Creek Association.  They have joined God’s church to the world through government and business.  All for the better good of mankind. Welcome to Satan’s one world church.

If you attend one of their many churches, and yes on the surface their programs seem nice, but if you dig deep into who all the players are behind this one world church, joining the one world society, you’ll see Satan’s hand on both.

So when you can no longer question the pastor’s leadership, you’ll know who you’re dealing with, not God and His word, for God tells us to test all things.

²¹ Test all things; hold fast what is good.

1 THESSALONIANS  5 : 21

 ¹ Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits,

whether they are of God; because many false prophets

have gone out into the world.

1 JOHN  4 : 1

These pastors do not pass God’s test.

If you think this can’t happen in your church, think again.  I am watching faithful Christian friends in a local church who dared to question the pastor and elders on the loss of their bible studies, precept classes and their monthly communion, who are now being persecuted by these so called men of God.
