MY LOVE

 

It was just my love and I

Climbing the stairs of life

Half way there was a platform

To rest from life’s strife

 

As we continued to climb

We went hand in hand

The stairs began to get steeper

So narrow I couldn’t stand

 

I became so fearful

My love said you go back

Down to the platform to wait

While I finished this task

 

I sit looking out a window

Watching life go by

My love never came back

Now here I sit and cry

 

I’m stuck between life and death

Our earthly dreams are gone

I haven’t been doing well

To be with him I long

 

God said I’ll get you up those stairs

But today is not your day

He said you just take my hand

And I’ll guide you on your way

 

This month its been one year

But it feel like yesterday

Feeling this loss and pain

All I can do is pray

 

The times I do go out

I hide it oh so well

This pain that I am suffering

No one could ever tell

 

I hold on to God’s promise

My love one day I’ll see

Then we’ll be together

With Jesus for all eternity

 

For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore,

for Your name’s sake, Lead me and guide me.

PSALM 31:3

 

Most assuredly, I say to you,

he who believes in Me has everlasting life.

JOHN 6:47

 

for so an entrance will be supplied to you

abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of

our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

BEFORE I LEAVE

BEFORE  I  LEAVE

 

Warren left on his trip

And he’s waiting for me

But there are things I must do

Before I can leave

 

They are turning from God

There is hatred everywhere

When it come to human life

You can see they don’t care

 

For God’s work I must do

This planting of seeds

To spread the gospel of Jesus

When there’s such a need

 

They’ll know the reason why

When they see us all leave

For the call for this trip

They didn’t receive

 

It was God or Satan

You choose the wrong side

Now you’ll see the truth

There will be nowhere to hide

 

And this gospel of the kingdom will be

Preached in all the world as a witness to all

the nations, and then the end will come.

MATTHEW 24:14

 

Now he who plants and he who waters

are one, and each one will receive his own

reward according to his own labor.

1 CORINTHIANS 3:8

 

16 and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall

On us and hide us from the face of Him who

Sits on the throne and from the wrath of

the Lamb! 17 For the great day of His wrath

has come, and who is able to stand?”

LOVE LIVES ON

LOVE  LIVES  ON

 

My love is in heaven

But we are still one

We are joined forever

Through God’s only Son

 

On the day we married

God said two flesh become one

With the vows we made

Our new life had begun

 

Then on that faithful day

God said come to me

He sent His Holy Spirit

So with Him we’ll always be

 

So living on earth or in heaven

Our love will live on

For our spirits are still joined

Through Jesus God’s Son

 

and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his

father and mother and be joined to his wife,

and the two shall become one flesh’?

MATTHEW 19:5

 

At that day you will know that

I am in My Father,

and you in Me, and I in you.

Together forever

Jesus, Warren and me

Our spirits are joined

And will always be

 

Nothing in heaven or on earth

Can separate our love

Joined forever with Jesus

God’s perfect gift from above

 

Jesus knows that I’m broken

Tears flow from my heart

But deep in my spirit

I know we’re never apart

 

Jesus said He’d come

I know the time is near

I’ll see my love again

The day Jesus does appear

 

But he who is joined to the Lord

is one spirit with Him.

1 CORINTHIANS 6:17

 

You also be patient. Establish your hearts,

for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

TRUMPET OF GOD

TRUMPET OF GOD

 

The earth is covered with a cloud

The trumpet of God is heard aloud

 

Only His will hear a voice

All the angels will rejoice

 

Jesus we can hear you call

Claim Your children one and all

 

It’s only you we glorify

Up to you we all will fly

 

Seven years God’s wrath will pour

Destroying evil to its core

 

We’ll return with Jesus and sing

Praises to our Lord and King

with a shout, with the voice of an archangel,

and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in

Christ will rise first. ¹⁷ Then we who are alive

and remain shall be caught up together with them

in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

1 THESSALONIANS 4:16-17

 

Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first

resurrection. Over such the second death has no

power, but they shall be priests of God and of

Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

The Lord thundered from heaven,

Hailstones and coals of fire.

⁵² in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.

For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be

raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1 CORINTHIANS 15:52

 

¹⁰ and to wait for His Son from heaven,

whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus

who delivers us from the wrath to come.

So much pain and suffering

The loved ones we have lost

We know they will raise first

We who are alive will follow

Then we’ll leave this earth

 

To be with you Dear Jesus

Is our heart’s desire

To praise our God forever

In His heavenly choir

 

To see our Lord and Savior

From Him we’ll never part

No more pain and suffering

Only joy to fill ones heart

 

19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of

rejoicing? 20 Is it not even you in the presence

of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?
