HE’S NEVER GONE

 

As I sit on the swing

Watching the river go by

I look at the empty seat

And ask God why

 

Everything I do

I do for my love

Planting his favorite flowers

Can he see them from above

 

I expect him to come home

And see his smiling face

That’s why all his things

Are still in their place

 

Me on earth him in heaven

Through Jesus we’re never apart

For me he’s never gone

They both live in my heart

And then there will be

The world will shine

With a blinding light

Covered in a cloud

Yet shining bright

 

As Jesus appears

In all of His glory

The world won’t see Him

They rejected His story

 

He will call His own

Up to His side

The church of believers

His loving bride

 

The rest will face

All of God wrath

And deal with Satan

Their chosen their path

 

They’ll have seven years

To accept God’s Son

Know in this time

There’ll be no where to run

 

²¹ For then there will be great tribulation, such as

has not been since the beginning of the world

until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in

Certain sights and smells

Can bring about a memory

Of a love that’s lost

Leaving me in misery

 

The day maybe going fine

When I hear a song

Then comes the reality

That you’re really gone

 

Now I understand

How a heart can break

For day after day

I feel my heart ache

 

Everyday I pray to God

Give me strength and comfort me

I know His day is coming soon

Then together we will be

 

Jesus said He’s coming back

The signs are everywhere

I know soon He’ll call

Then I’ll meet you in the air

The harlot is riding

The world hears the call

No modesty no shame

They flaunt it all

 

Refusing to repent

They’ve made their choice

They want what they want

In their sin they rejoice

 

The church kept silent

When they were aware

Now they’re all upset

With evil everywhere

 

God sees and knows all

Searching each heart and mind

In this world and His church

What will He find

Even to give every man according to his

Hear me dear Jesus

How long must we wait

Yes we understand

Only God knows the date

 

The world is exploding

Inside and out

We feel the time is near

To that there’s no doubt

 

As in Noah’s time

They’ve turned against You

Not believing You’ll judge them

For the sins that they do

 

They talk about Your love

But never Your Judgment-day

For the desires of the flesh

From Your truth they turned away

 

²⁶ And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be

also in the days of the Son of Man: ²⁷ They ate, they

 drank, they married wives, they were given in

marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,

and the flood came and destroyed them all.
