MADE  THEM  ONE

 

They  were  joined  together

By  accepting  God’s  Son

He  took  Jew  and  gentile

And  made  them  one

 

Through  Christ  Jesus

There  came  a  new  man

When  two  become  one

There’s  peace  in  the  land

 

A  wall  of  separation

Through  Jesus  it  fell

For  He  is  our  peace

Now  in  Him  both  dwell

 

To  the  Father  by  one  spirit

But  you  must  confess

For  it’s  only  through  Jesus

Both  have  access

 

14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made

both one, and has broken down the middle wall

of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the

enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained

in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new

man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that

He might reconcile them both to God in one body

through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.

17 And He came and preached peace to you who were

afar off and to those who were near. 18 For through Him

we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

and where I am, there My servant will

him My Father will honor.

The  Holy  Spirit

Is  God’s  guarantee

Of  what  is  mine

He  said  would  be

 

As  a  child  of  God’s

I  will  inherit  all

But  now  I  must  wait

For  Jesus  to  call

 

I’m  His  purchased  possession

One  day  He  will  claim

By  His  holy  spirit

He  will  know  me  by  name

 

I  belong  to  Him

For  He  paid  the  price

On  the  day  He  collects

I’m  home  in  paradise

 

13  In Him you also trusted, after you heard

the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; 

in whom also, having believed, you were also

sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

14  who is the guarantee of our inheritance

until the redemption of the purchased

possession, to the praise of His glory.

When  I  ask  for  this  or  that

I  want  it  right  away

I  didn’t  take  the  time  to  see

How  you  blessed  me  everyday

 

I  need  to  stop  and  see

All  the  little  things  you  do

So  when  the  big  things  come  my  way

Sometimes  it’s  just  a  touch

I  need  fixed

 

But  then  God  said

Do  this  for  me

It’s  time  to  quit

And  be  smoke  free

 

No  more  coughing

A  blessing  of  fresh  air

Whatever  God  may  ask

I  know  He’ll  see  me  through

For  there’s  nothing  on  this  earth

With  Jesus  I  can’t  do

Christ who strengthens me.

Ask  in  His  name

It’s  through  Christ  Jesus

God  said  come  to  Me

 

It’s  in  your  hearts

He’ll  make  His  home

Thank  God  for  Jesus

The  way  to  His  throne

 

Jesus said to him, “I am the way,

the truth, and the life.  No one comes

to the Father except through Me.
