RUN  TO  YOUR  FATHER

 

All  these  people

The  things  they  do

Run  to  your  father

When  they  hurt  you

 

Don’t  defend  yourself

Let  them  be

Just  be  silent

They’ll  deal  with  Me

 

For  vengeance  is  Mine

Don’t  give  it  a  place

You  only  need  know

It’s  Me  they  will  face

 

I  will  repay  all

For  the  things  they’ve  done

On  the  day  they  stand

And  face  My  Son

 

Beloved, do not avenge yourselves,

but rather give place to wrath; for it

is written, “Vengeance is Mine,

I will repay,” says the Lord.

God  joined  us  together

We  became  one  soul

For  only  with  you

My  heart  can  be  whole

 

You  leave  for  work

The  two  of  us  part

And  for  that  time

I’m  half  a  heart

THE SORROW

THE  SORROW

 

They  gave  me  such  love

But  then  came  the  sorrow

I  know  from  your  word

No  promise  of  tomorrow

 

But  there  it  all  goes

From  my  heart  it  spilled

Now  there’s  emptiness

In  the  place  they  once  filled

 

To  feel  such  sorrow

It  came  from  love

But  you  can  find  comfort

In  God  from  above

 

But  of  this  sorrow

I  wouldn’t  wish  on  another

But  know  we  can’t  have

One  without  the  other

 

Blessed are those who mourn,

For they shall be comforted.

What  is  the  cost

A  heart’s  been  broken

Another  piece  lost

 

These  gifts  from  God

We  loved  so  deep

But  now  of  these  gifts

Forever  He’ll  keep

 

These  pieces  of  my  heart

Have  gone  to  thee

Hold  them  and  keep  them

To  speak  out  for  what’s  true

THEY  DON’T  HAVE  A  CLUE

 

I’ll  fill  you  with  joy 

I’m  the  bright  morning  star

Jesus  said  you  come

Come  as  you  are

 

Now  the  joy  inside  you

It’s  Jesus  you  feel

But  know  there  are  those

So  willing  to  steal

 

They  believe  they’re  righteous

They’ll  point  out  your  faults

They  will try  to  steal

The  joy  He  exalts

 

They  claim  to  be  Christians

But  they  don’t  have  a  clue

Or  they’d  know  their  stealing

From  Jesus  not  you

 

3 “And why do you look at the speck in your

brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank

in your own eye? 4 “Or how can you say to your

brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye;

and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 “Hypocrite!

First remove the plank from your own eye, and

then you will see clearly to remove the

speck from your brother’s eye.
