HIS  NAME
 
There are many churches
Who really don’t care
As long as you come and give
They don’t care if you swear
 
Have you ever really thought
About the language you use
That it’s God’s Holy Son
With words you abuse
 
If they used your child’s name
To swear and to curse
Would you welcome in your home
Or in your wrath be immerse
 
Heaven is God’s home
Do you think you’ll get in
Using His name to curse
You know it was a sin
 
Jesus is the door to heaven
Will He open it for you
If known by your language
You think you’ll get through
 
 
“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for
the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
