God  sent  you  to  me

To  love  and  to  cherish

For  all  to  see

Sometimes  we  forget

God  gave  us  all

His  creatures  both

Great  and  small

So  you  see  by  now

A  child  it’s  not

A  squirrel  God  sent

That’s  what  I’ve  got

He  thinks  I’m  his  mom

He  comes  running  you  see

He  just  wants  hugs

And  kisses  from  me

For  people  to  see

In that day I will make a covenant for them

With the beasts of the field,

With the birds of the air, and with the

Creeping things of the ground.

Bow and sword of battle I will shatter from
