GOD  DECIDES

 

To cut a life away

As if it was a flower

To deny a child of life

If only for one hour

 

To say you’re saving them

From suffering in vain

It’s you you’re thinking of

To justify your pain

 

Now an innocent life

Will be sacrificed

For not being perfect

Must they pay the price

 

To hold them in your arms

And watch them slip away

To know that they were loved

If only for that day

 

God watched His Son Jesus

Suffer and die

At the hands of man

As all stood by

 

God knows the pain

You’re going through

But when it comes to death

He decides, not you

 

“Cursed is the one who takes a bribe

to slay an innocent person.”

Since his days are determined,
The number of his months is with You;
You have appointed his limits, so that he cannot pass.
