NOT OF THIS WORLD

NOT  OF  THIS  WORLD

 

In the world you’ll see

The corruption and hear lies

God said don’t lose your focus

For the world you have no ties

 

Heaven is our true home

Not the fire in the lake

We know we will be leaving

And there’s nothing we can take

 

So with the evil in this world

We shouldn’t get upset

God said He has control

But the devil’s not done yet

 

The battle still goes on

But the Lord will give you peace

Know you’re not of this world

You don’t own you only lease

 

For as bad as things will get

The devil takes his toll

God said now don’t you worry

For I’m still in control

 

18 “If the world hates you, you know that it

hated Me before it hated you.

19 “If you were of the world, the world would

love its own. Yet because you are not of the

world, but I chose you out of the world,

therefore the world hates you.
