They’re so
proud of themselves
With what
they have found
Hidden messages
in scripture
God says
it’s not sound
You can
pick out scriptures
So your
point comes across
But read
from beginning to end
So the
meaning’s not lost
They jump
from book to
book
Taking a
verse here and
there
They join
them together
It’s God
that they dare
They question
God’s word
What could
they be thinking
Add verses
from Isaiah to
Genesis
And say
they are linking
God spelled
it all out
From Genesis
to Revelation
His word
will hold true
For each generation
In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
