GOD’S LOVE
Long ago sin entered the world through Adam and Eve, and
from there we are all born in sin and fall short of the glory of God.
20 For there is not a just man on earth who
does good
And does not sin.
And does not sin.
ECCLESIASTES 7:20
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
ROMANS 3:23
But God already had a plan from the beginning of creation to
save mankind from their sin, and what a plan it was. He would offer salvation to
mankind through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Knowing that no sin can
enter heaven, God knew from the beginning that through His Holy Spirit and a
young Jewish girl He would send His only begotten Son, Jesus to earth to pay
the price for our sins. Jesus came to earth as man and God, knowing full well
that His purpose for coming was to offer Himself to suffer and be crucified to
save mankind, you from your sins.
21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus,
for He will save His people from
their sins.” 22 So all
this was done that it
might be fulfilled which was
spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying:
23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with
child, and bear a Son, and they shall call
His name Immanuel, ”which is translated, “God with
us.”

The Word Becomes Flesh
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
and we beheld His glory, the
glory as of the only begotten
of the Father, full of grace
and truth.

Predicts His Death on the Cross ] “Now My soul
is troubled, and what
shall I say? ‘Father, save Me
from this hour’? But
for this purpose I
came to this hour.
Can you even imagine looking at one of your children and
deciding to send them to save a people that you knew would torture and then
crucified them? You need to let this
sink into your hearts, because God loved us so that is exactly what He did for
us. He sent His only Son, to be tortured and crucified to save us from our sins
and death.
16 For God so loved the world that He gave
His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life.

13 Greater love has no one than this,
than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
JOHN 15:13
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us,
in that while we were still
sinners, Christ died for us.
ROMANS 5:8
In this is love, not that we loved God,
but that He loved us and sent His Son
to be the
propitiation for our sins.
For it was only through His blood sacrifice that could
cleanse us and save us from our sins so we may enter heaven.
And He said to them, “This is My blood of the
new covenant, which is shed for many.

In Him we have redemption through His blood,
the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
EPHESIANS 1:7
in whom we have redemption through His blood,
the forgiveness of sins.
Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people
with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.
But if we walk in the
light as He is in the light,
we have fellowship
with one another, and the
blood of
Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the
firstborn from
the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him
who loved us
and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
We need to try
and understand how great God’s love was for us, His creation.
That He gave His only Son
to save us, and it was through the sacrifice of His
only Son, Jesus that cleanses us from
our sin. It is a lot to comprehend,
yet so simple.
But God demonstrates
His own love toward us,
in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of
His great love with which He
loved us,
5 even when we were dead in trespasses,
made us alive together with
Christ
(by grace you have been saved),
EPHESIANS 2:4-5
9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us,
that God has sent His only
begotten Son into the world,
that we might live through
Him.10 In
this is love,
not that we loved God, but
that He loved us and sent
His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1 JOHN 4:9-10
It is only by God’s love and grace we are saved. Just by
faith believing in all He gave for us, His Son, Jesus. God’s gift of His Holy
Spirit and heaven can not be bought, and no work you do can pay off your sins.
But Peter said to him, "Your money perish with you, because you
thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!
ACTS 8:20
20 I have been crucified with Christ;
it is no longer I who live,
but Christ lives in me; and
the life which I now live in the flesh
I live by faith in the Son of
God,
who loved me and gave Himself
for me.
GALATIANS 2:20
13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth,
the gospel of your salvation; in
whom also, having believed,
you were sealed with the Holy
Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee
of our inheritance until the
redemption of the purchased possession,
to the praise of His glory.

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith,
and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

The Spirit of Truth and the
Spirit of Error
24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him,
and He in him. And by this we
know that He abides in us,
by the Spirit whom He has
given us.
1 JOHN 3:24
Without reading God’s word you may be deceived by some false
doctrine or just false teachings. For God warned of this in the last days there
will be false prophets and false teachers. Not maybe, there will be. Many
churches are now replacing God’s doctrine with their purpose driven and seeker
sensitive doctrines just to lure people in.
And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.' "
MATTHEW 15:9
that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and
carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men,
in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting.
EPHESIANS 4:14
[ The Great Apostasy ] Now
the Spirit expressly says
that in latter
times some will depart from the faith,
giving heed to
deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
For the time will
come when they will not endure sound doctrine,
but according to
their own desires, because they
have itching ears,
they will heap up
for themselves teachers;
2 TIMOTHY 4:3
(Destructive Doctrines) But there were also false prophets
among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you,
who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord
who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.
2 PETER 2:1
9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the
doctrine of Christ
does not have God. He who
abides in the doctrine of Christ has both
the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this
doctrine, do not receive him
into your house nor greet him;
2 JOHN 9-10
We must hold the true word of God and the simplicity of
Christ. That He was born of a virgin, He suffer and died for our sins and rose
on the third day. So confess with your mouth that Jesus saved you and that you
have repented of your sins to follow Him all the days of your life.
But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice.'
For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.' "
MATTHEW 9:13
I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all
likewise perish.
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus
and believe in your heart that
God has raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness,
and with the mouth confession
is made unto salvation.
ROMANS 10:9-10
But I fear, lest
somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness,
so your minds may
be corrupted from the simplicity that
is in Christ.
