RESPONSIBILITY

If  you  stand  up  for  God

And  say  it  is  wrong

They’ll  call  you  a  bigot

And  want  you  gone

Your  voice  they  want  silent

They’re  made  it  quite  clear

Christian  values  and  God

They  don’t  want  to  hear

Their  goal  is  to  teach

Your  children  you  see

In  public  schools 

What  they  believe

They  teach  what  they  want

But  God  can’t  get  in

What  their  teaching  as  right

God  calls  it  a  sin

They  say  they  don’t  know

Why  things  are  so  bad

Kids  killing  kids

They’ll  say  it  so  sad

They’re  pushing  their  trash

Through  your  TV

Then  they  blame  you

For  letting  them  see 

It’s  a  business  they  say

Big  money  they  make

Responsibility

They’ll  never  take

Pushing  violence  and  sex

God  said  it’s  a  sin

For  their  love  of  money

They  can’t  let  Him  in

If  your  a  Christian  they  love

Putting  you  down

Hollywood  thinks  God

They  can  push  around

When  their  time  comes

And  God  they  will face

He’ll  judge  them  and  send  them

You  know  what  place

He’ll  cast  them  down

With  the  staff  of  His  rod

See  heaven  is  for

Those  who  love  God

Then the Lord said to him, “now

you Pharisees make the outside of the

cup and dish clean, but your inward

part is full of greed and wickedness.

Luke  11 : 39   

So are the ways of everyone

who is greedy for gain;

It takes away the life of its owners.

If  you’re  a  Christian  group

They’ll  say  let  us  in

They’ll  say  I  don’t  believe

In  what  you  call  a  sin

They  say  they  don’t  want

What  God  says  they  need

They  say  they  can  do  better

They  want  the  lead

You  say  in  this  group

By  God’s  laws  it’s  run

They’ll  take  you  to  court

The  judge  says  your  done

You’re  a  Christian  group

The  world  can  see

They  just  don’t  want

You  to  be  free

If  you  stand  by  God’s  laws

You  discriminate

For  believing  in  morals

They  love  to  hate

It’s  time  to  stand  up

For  what  God  gave

Our  freedom,  our  lives

Only  through  God  one  can  be  save

                                            

“Therefore whoever confesses me before men,

him I will also confess before my father who is in heaven.

“but whoever denies Me before men, him I will also

deny before my Father who is in heaven.

For  God  and  for  me

But  how  do  I  do  that

When  you  want  to  leave

The  lead  that  you  gave  me

I  know  it  won’t  last

You  see  what  you  taught  me

I  learned  from  my  past

When  the  going  gets  tough

You  just  run  away

But  I  pray  to  God, 

You’ll  both  want   to  stay

“So then, they are no longer two but

one flesh.  Therefore what God has joined

together, let not man separate.”

TO HIM ALONE
