STAND  AS  ONE

 

She  told  me  a  secret

Don’t  tell  him

One  little  wedge

Is  driven  in

 

But  he  has  his  friends

He  said  he’ll  stand  by

Sometimes  they  depend

On  him  to  lie

 

Another  wedge  driven  in

We’re  splitting  apart

It’s  time  to  take  back

What  God  gave  from  the  start

 

If  they  keep  driving  wedges

How  long  till  we  break

I  thought  they  were  friends

Can’t  they  see  our  heartache

 

So  on  these  so  called  friends

We’ve  now  closed  the  door

No  more  wedges  will they  drive

We  stand  as  one  forevermore

COMPASSION

COMPASSION

 

You  see  a  drug  addict

How  low  can  one  go

What  they’ve  done  to  themselves

Do  you  think  they  don’t  know

 

Did  they  do  it  to  fit  in

Or  to  ease  some  pain

In  this  crazy  world

Did  it  make  them  feel  sane

 

When  you  look  at  them

You’ll  see  what  drugs  cost

Now  see  what  Jesus  sees

He  said  I  came  for  the  lost

 

Now  I  look  a  little  closer

There’s  a  light  that  I  see

With  a  heart  of  compassion

Jesus  said  look  for  Me

 

For  when  you  reach  out  to  others

You  never  know  who  you’ll  meet

You  may  see  a  drug  addict

But  it’s  Jesus  you’ll  greet

 

But God demonstrates His own love

toward us, in that while we were still

sinners, Christ died for us.

HE’LL  SUPPLY

 

God  something’s  wrong

What  could  it  be

I  feel  tried  and  weak

What’s  wrong  with  me

 

Then  God  answered

Your  not  reading  My  word

Where  have  you  been

Not  a  word  you’ve  heard

 

Then  I  remembered

Seek  Him  I  must

He’ll  supply  all  my  needs

If  in  Jesus  I’ll  trust

 

People  will  ask  God  why

In  their  times  of  need

But  if  you  want  an  answer

His  word  you  must  read

GOD BLESS AMERICA

One  nation  indivisible

Comes  from  the  liberal  press

Maybe  that’s  the  reason  why

Our  country’s  such  a  mess

 

It  reads  one  nation  under  God

And  it’s  Him  they’re  pushing  out

Believing  they  control  the  airwaves

And  they  have  all  the  clout

 

Now  you’ve  seen  the  out  come

When  you  turn  your  back  on  God

He  pulls  His  blessings  from  this  land

And  evil  came  right  in

 

Our  government  if  so  corrupt  now

  Americans  will  pay  the  price

For  you  stood  and  did  nothing

Not  one  sacrifice

 

But  know  that  God  is  merciful

You  can  welcome  Him  back  in

He’ll  stand  by  you  while  you  sing

 Never Again

 

There’s  an  uneasy  feeling

Our  security’s  been  breached

It’s  the  hand  of  evil

You  can  feel  its  reach

 

As  it  came  swooping  down

It  came  to  destroy

Now  that  evils  come  in

The  world  is  its  toy

 

There  is  one  more  powerful

You  can  call  on  His  name

He’s  our  only  hope

In  this  evil  game

 

So  call  out  to  Jesus

And  say  Lord  come

Fill  the  world  with  your  light

Drowning  evil  till  none

 

Now I saw heaven opened, and behold,

a white horse.  And He who sat on him

was called Faithful and True, and in

righteousness  He judges and makes war.

THE  TRADE  CENTER

Never  Forget

 

I  turn  on  the  TV

My  eyes  can’t  believe

The  trade  center  comes  down

My  heart  starts  to  grieve

 

They  said  it  was  terrorists

It  seems  so  surreal

Devastation  and  destruction

And  the  lives  they  steal

 

Next  was  the  pentagon

Where  will  it  end

So  many  lives  lost

Family  and  friends

 

I  wish  it  could  be 

Better  tomorrow

But  I  know  it  won’t

We  all  feel  their  sorrow

 

Dear  God  please  help  us

Come  and  protect  this  land

But  if  it’s  war  they  want

Feel  the  wrath  of  God’s  hand

 

For you shall not go out with haste,

Nor go by flight; For the Lord will go

before you, And the God of Israel

will be your rear guard.

He  stands  there  fishing

I’ll  sit  down  here

I’ll  talk  with  Jesus

I  can  feel  Him  near

 

There’s  a  peace  all  around

The  stars  fill  the  sky

The  darkness  surrounds  me

As  the  river  flows  by

 

Jesus  said  I  am  here

With  you  I  will  be

I  will  never  leave  you

Your  words  flow  to  Me

 

So  if  you  see  me  speaking

And  it  appears  there’s  only  one

Look  closer  from  your  heart

You  may  see  God’s  Son

 

20 At that day you will know that I am

in My Father, and you in Me and I in you.

21 “He who has My commandments and

keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And

he who loves Me will be loved by My

Father, and I will love him and

manifest Myself to him.”

TO THE LIGHT

TO  THE  LIGHT

 

In  your  heart  you  know

What  is  right

For  even  a  moth  flies

To  the  light

 

If  you  think  you  can  wait

To  see  the  light  at  the  end

Remember  God’s  been  watching

You  can’t  pretend

 

Now  when  the  time  comes

A  light  returns  to  its  source

But  He’ll  only  call  His

On  this  heavenly  coarse

 

Now  with  Jesus  in  your  heart

God’s  spirit  will  shine  through

He’ll  know  you  by  the  light  inside

He’ll  see  Himself  in  you

 

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying,

“I am the light of the world. He who follows Me

shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

JOHN 8:12

 

But you are not in the flesh but in

the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God

dwells in you.  Now if anyone does not

have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

THE  LIGHT  SHINES  AGAIN

 

As  the  sun  starts  to  set

I  look  to  the  sky

Shades  of  red  it’s  painted

I’ve  wondered  why

 

The  scene  seems  so  perfect

I  can’t  take  it  all  in

Could  it  be  a  glimpse  of  heaven

My  heart  longs  to  win

 

There  is  such  a  peace

As  I  look  to  the  sky

Then  all  goes  dark

And  I  remember  why

 

For  sin  enter  the  world

And  the  darkness  came  in

Thank  God  for  Jesus

The  light  shines  again

 

Then Jesus spoke to them again,

saying, “I am the light of the world.

He who follows Me shall not walk

in darkness, but have the light of life.”
