PROPHECY  NOT  HEARD
 
Why can’t the churches
Teach all of God’s word
When it comes to prophecy
It’s like they never heard
 
They ignore 30% of the bible
Is it they don’t want people to know
Leaving out all prophecy
Though they’ve come true and show
 
Is it they don’t have discernment
Or preach what people want to hear
So they don’t upset the masses
As the end times draw near
 
Knowing they’ll answer to God
How will they respond
That I can not answer
But God’s watching from beyond
 
 
¹⁹ And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed
as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star
rises in your hearts; ²⁰ knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any
private interpretation, ²¹ for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy
men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
2 PETER 1:19-21
 
My brethren, let not many of you become teachers,
knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.

GOOD INTENTIONS

GOOD  INTENTIONS
 
The spirit is willing
And God does approve
The only problem is
Getting the flesh to move
 
We have good intentions
You know where they lead
They say straight to hell
To the flesh don’t concede
 
This battle I will win
When you lead the way
Only You dear Jesus
Can make the flesh obey
 
I read His word everyday
I know that’s not enough
It’s what I do afterwards
If another’s life I can touch
 
 
Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation.
The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
MATTHEW 26:41
 
Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness.

Let your light so shine before men,that they may see

WE TOLD THEM

 

WE  TOLD  THEM
 
Waiting for Jesus
To carry me away
We’ll all be caught up
On that special day
 
As the evil spreads
And Satan takes hold
We see it happening
As God’s word told
 
There are those who are blind
And those who refuse to see
For what’s coming on this earth
It’s by God’s decree
 
So when Christians leave
And unbelievers are left behind
God’s truth that we told them
Remembrances comes to mind
 
That Jesus is the truth and life
And that he was the only way
Now you’ll face His wrath
It wasn’t just hearsay
 
 
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also
eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
PHILIPPIANS 3:20

with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And
