THE WINDS OF DOCTRINE

In my 57 years I have never seen so many churches bringing in strange and destructive doctrines into God’s house.

The first thing we saw was they hired a Transitional Pastor. This type of pastor is brought into change the structure, the by-laws of a church. Pastors who believe in this change are told to take up to 7 years to make the changes so the people will not be upset by these pastor’s vision, purpose and goals, disregarding what God’s word says God’s church should be. People are being asked to sign a covenant with the church leaders giving them total control over them bringing God’s people back into bondage. And those faithful Christians who do not buy-in to their covenant, their vision, purpose, their goals are asked to leave.

Thing you should look for in your church. They change the way the church looks or they want to build a new one. No pews, chairs only. No piano or organ, set up a band. No hymn books, put up a projection screen. Change the music of old hymns, more up beat. They must be able to tell a good story to entertain people. Put in a café and monitors so people can sit with their coffee and don’t actually have to come all the way into the service. Fill the church with those who are called the unchurched, the new word for sinners. They are now welcoming and filling Christ’s body with sin

22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head
over all things to the church,
23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
EPHESIANS 1 : 22 - 23

14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro
and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men,
in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
EPHESIANS 4 : 14

And yes, people are flocking to these churches, for their leaders are of this world and the world hears them.

4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them,
because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world,
and the world hears them.
6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God
does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
1 JOHN 4 : 4 - 6
