BEWARE OF FALSE SHEPHERDS

If you are not studying God’s word, you will not know if the leaders in your church follow God’s vision or their vision. These false teachers will use scripture, philosophy and empty deceit to reach their vision, their goals. They are telling people what they want to hear. That there is no hell, no wrath of God and no judgment, all will come to God, all are saved, and God’s kingdom is now, not at the coming of our Lord Jesus.

If you’re studying God’s word, you know this is not true. Notice when they invite people to come to Jesus and offer the salvation prayer. They tell them Jesus washes away their sin, but they never tell them that they must admit they are a sinner, and they must also repent of their sins. They whitewash the gospel and the prayer of salvation.

13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming
themselves into apostles of Christ.
14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves
into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
2 CORINTHIANS 11 : 13 – 15

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to
their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;
4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
2 TIMOTHY  4 : 3, 4

They are allowing known sinners to shepherd God’s flock, His church, His Son’s body.  They may teach there is no judgment, but they will face Jesus on judgment day.

22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in
Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me,
you who practice lawlessness!’
MATTHEW 7 : 22, 23

1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ,
who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom:
2 TIMOTHY 4 : 1

30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked,
but now commands all men everywhere to repent,
ACTS 17 : 30

9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness,
but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that
all should come to repentance.
2 PETER 3 : 9
