FIRST HAND

FIRST  HAND

 

There  was  one  creation

One  heaven,  one  earth

One  Adam,  one  Eve

Our  family  from  birth

 

We  see  God’s  love

When  the  world  filled  with  sin

He  preserved  our  life

When  he  took  Noah  in

 

When  sin  over  runs

God  will  destroy  the  land

The  people  will  face

God’s  judgment  first  hand

 

The  righteous  man

God  takes  out  of  the  way

To  wait  for  God’s  promise

For  He’s  coming  one  day

 

Now  don’t  be  deceived

Look  to  the  sky

For  Jesus  is  coming

On  clouds  from  on  high

 

His  promise  was

His  wrath  we’ll  not  face

A  gift  it  was

Being  saved  by  God’s  grace

 

 and to wait for His Son from heaven,

whom He raised from the dead, even

Jesus who delivers us from the

wrath to come.

1 THESSALONIANS  1 : 10

 

¹⁶ For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout,

with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And

the dead in Christ will rise first. ¹⁷ Then we who are alive and

remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet

the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
