When I open my bible
Your word lights my
way
It’s the light that guides me
As I go about my day
Without you Jesus
I now know the cost
You let me see
My soul would be lost
For all my sins
You paid the price
To save my soul
Your life sacrificed
You sent Your Holy Spirit
To come and live in me
Making me Yours forever
He’s my guarantee
Till I come, give attention
to reading,
to exhortation, to doctrine.
