THAT WOODEN CROSS

THAT  WOODEN  CROSS
 
You came to this earth
To save the lost
Knowing what was before You
You still paid the cost
 
The love You has for us
And what You went through
The sins of this world
Were laid upon You
 
My entire sinful life
You washed it all away
On that wooden cross
Making me new that day
 
You came to give life
To all those who’ll believe
That if in their hearts
Jesus they’ll receive
 
 
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward
him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God
who takes away the sin of the world!
