God told us in His word

But you won’t have to worry

You’ll be gone as it was told

He’s calling all He knows

To Jesus we will go

But if you don’t know Jesus

In heaven you won’t show

Then we who are alive and remain

shall be caught up together with them

in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

You say your are a Christian

God’s word you live by

There’s someone in trouble

Yet you pass them by

You say there is no time

There’s things you must do

God want you to realize

You’re just thinking of you

God wouldn’t pass right by you

To give to each other

Show Him you care

Please give what you can

Do it with love

God doesn’t want you to do it

Then hold a grudge

A cheerful giver

Is what you should be

He’ll search our hearts

And judge us you’ll see

God knows what and why

The reasons you give

Remember for eternity

He decides where you live

So let each one give as he purposes

in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity;

for God loves a cheerful giver.

TITHING

The church says tithe

You complain

Your hard earned money

Is their aim

They say that’s what

The bible said

If you want God’s blessing

Get it through your head

God said you’re first

In His house you must store

For God will bless you

A hundred times more

If you believe God’s word

And what Jesus told

He said you are mine

And all that you hold

So this is God’s money

He gave you in trust

He’ll see if you love Him

Or it’s things that you lust

Now 10%

Is the least you should do

Considering what

Jesus did for you

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,

And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts,

“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven

And pour out for you such blessing

That there will not be room enough to receive it.

In our Christian churches

They’ll say let us in

They say they don’t believe

What God calls a sin

They say they don’t want

What God says they need

They believe they know better

They want the lead

WHAT JOY

They don’t understand

How He hears us

They laugh at us

Believing we’re weak

They’ve closed their hearts

Their minds that’s true

For they can’t let God

how they told you that there would be

mockers in the last time who would

walk according to their own ungodly lusts.

God laid out the rules

In His word you’ll find

He’ll prepare you to play

So you won’t be deceived

It’s a game you can win

You just have to believe

We know by God’s word

Only His team can win

But still there are those

Who stand by their sin

The choice will be yours

Which side will you choose

God’s side you win

The other you lose

wickedness in  the heavenly places.

When they’d pull in front of me

You know I’d scream and yell

They couldn’t hear my angry words

Then I’d feel so guilty

And always prayed for me

God forgive those words I said

From anger set me free

Now when someone cuts me off

God taught me what to do

He said remember who you’re dealing with

So pray for them, not you

He said you have to realize

They’ve never had God’s joy

Pray for them, for now you see

They are the devil’s toy

 

24  And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel

opposition, if God perhaps will grant them

repentance, so they may know the truth,

We  should  seek

Some  churches  say  no

They’re  not  for  now

But  seek  God’s  gifts

He  said  He’d  send

The  Holy  Spirit 

To  stay  to  the  end

Now  in  your  hearts

He  will  dwell

What  man  won’t  teach

He  will  tell

The  bible  you  must  read

For  it’s  God’s  word

It  tells  more  than

What  you  have  heard

The  gifts  are  for

All  you  know

Just  seek  God’s  word

He’ll  let  them  flow

God’s  word  was  then

And  still  holds  true

These  gifts  He  gives

To  me  and  you

Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts,

but especially that you may prophesy.

Is  where  He  lives

The  way  we  treat

His  children  He’ll  know

So  open  your  hearts
