The gifts
God gives
We should
seek
For all
his people
Bold and
meek
Some churches
say no
They’re not
for now
But seek
God’s gifts
Any how
When Jesus
ascended
He said
He’d send
The Holy
Spirit
To stay
to the end
Now in
your hearts
He will
dwell
What man
won’t teach
He will
tell
The bible
you must read
For it’s
God’s word
It tells
more than
What you
have heard
The gifts
are for
All you
know
Just seek
God’s word
He’ll let
them flow
God’s word
was then
And still
holds true
These gifts
He gives
To me
and you
Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts,
but especially that you may prophesy.

But earnestly desire the best gifts.
And yet I show you a more excellent way.
