THINKING OF YOU
They do
whatever they want
As they
push you away
They live
for everyone else
As your
heart broke that
day
No phone
calls, no talking
No way
they could know
That your
heart broke in half
But you
won’t let it
show
You gave
them what you
could
Maybe it
wasn’t enough
There’s no
time to think
of you
They’re to
busy with stuff
It use
to get me
down
For weeks
and weeks on end
But with
Jesus in my
life
My heart He’ll guard
and tend
They know
they can come
home
And can
always count on you
You’ll always
make time for
them
And forgive them all they do
and the peace of God, which surpasses
all understanding, will guard your hearts
and minds through Christ Jesus.
