SEND  THE  LIGHT

 

Do  you  see  all  their  faces

Another  depressing  day

It’s  been  one  of  those  years

The  skies  are  cloudy  and  gray

 

Off  doing  all  those  errands

The  people  seem  so  cold

No  love  for  one  another

Has  evil  taken  hold

 

Then  it  starts  to  rain

Did  we  make  him  cry

Could  it  be  God’s  tears

Falling  from  the  sky

 

To  our  Father  in  heaven

Forgive  what  we  have  done

Send  Your  light  into  the  world

Jesus  Christ  Your  Son

the love of many will grow  cold.
