THEN THEY WILL CRY

THEN  THEY  WILL  CRY

 

They  cry  no  war

And  call  for  peace

They  say  it’s  madness

And  it  should  cease

 

Then  what’s  to  come

If  we  don’t  go  to  war

Will  they  attack  us

Until  we’re  no  more

 

With  their  chemical  weapons

It’s  us  they  want  dead

And  when  these  bombs  come

Will  you  feel  misled

 

Then  who  will  you  blame

The  government  of  course

For  they  knew  truth

And  they  knew  the  source

 

Then  they  will  cry

But  it  will  be  to  late

With  your  cry  of  peace

You  sealed  your  own  fate

 

For when they say, “Peace and safety!”

then sudden destruction comes upon them,

as labor pains upon a pregnant woman.

And they shall not escape.
