The  serpent  is  here

With  his  silver  tongue

If  he  deceives  God’s  sheep

The  church  he’s  won

 

He’s  slithered  in

To  your  church  and  mine

Now  with  God’s  word

His  lies  intertwine

 

This  is  not  from  God

Men  have  taken  the  lead

It’s  PURPOSE  DRIVEN

You’d  better  take  heed

 

Those  faithful  Christians

They  want  you  out

They  can’t  deceive  you

To  that  there’s  no  doubt

 

13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers,

transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.

14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms

himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is

no great thing if his ministers also transform

themselves into ministers of righteousness,

whose end will be according to their works.

1 CORINTHIANS  11 : 13 – 15

 

Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy

and empty deceit, according to the tradition of

men, according to the basic principles of the

world, and not according to Christ.

COLOSSIANS  2 : 8

 

3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by

his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity  

that is in Christ. 4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus

whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit

which you have not received, or a different gospel which

you have not accepted—you may well put up with it!

Open  your  eyes

You’re  being  deceived

They’re  stealing  God’s  church

These  pastors  these  thieves

 

They  have  their  own  vision

That’s  purpose  driven

To  replace  God’s  plan

That’s  a  given

 

They  use  small  groups

To  achieve  their  goal

With  their  chosen  leaders

It’s  mind  control

 

If  you  dare  to  question

You’ll  be  asked  to  leave

They  don’t  want  people

That  they  can’t  deceive

 

You  can  sit  there  in  silence

Or  do  what  is  right

Now  stand  up  for  God

And  fight  the  good  fight

 

  Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life,

to which you were also called and have confessed the

good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

1 TIMOTHY  6 : 12

 

13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse,

deceiving and being deceived. 14 But you must continue in the

things which you have learned and been assured of,

knowing from whom you have learned them,

You  believe  you’re  saved

Are  you  truly  saved

Without  God’s  Spirit

His  truth  you  waived

 

If  you  accepted  God’s  truth

Yet  you  knowingly  sin

You’re  really  not  saved

You  never  knew  Him

 

For  if  you  continue  to  sin

It’s  yourself  you  betray

It’s  only  through  His  Spirit

Can  you  change  your  ways

 

When  judgment  day  comes

Will  you  look  into  God’s  face

Or  will  you  hang  your  head

In  total  disgrace

 

⁶ That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born

of the Spirit is spirit. ⁷ Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must

be born again.’ ⁸ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the

sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes.

So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Or do you not know that your body is the temple

of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have

from God, and you are not your own?

Instead  of  following

Some  preacher  man

 

God’s  the  only  one

Who  knows  the  way

He  gave  His  instructions

So  we  don’t  go  astray

 

They  may  preach  a  good  word

Saying  God  you  can  find

But  the  truth  they  don’t  know

The  blind  leading  the  blind

 

Know  they’ll  never  mention

What  a  wretched  sinner  you  are

And  it’s  only  through  repentance

You’ll  see  the  Bright  and  Morning  Star

 

And He spoke a parable to them: “Can the blind lead

the blind?  Will they not both fall into the ditch?

God  sees  through  it  all

Will  pure  thoughts  He  find

To  see  just  who  you  are

Does  it  hold  His  love   

Or  is  it  just  an  empty  jar

 

Then  there’s  God’s  Spirit

You  know  you  need  Him  too

He’ll  know  if  you  are  His

If  He  lives  in  you

I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind,

Even to give every man according to his ways,

According to the fruit of his doings.

JEREMIAH  17 : 10

 

But God has revealed them to us

through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches

all things, yes, the deep things of God.

God  teaches  us  all

The  things  we  should  know

If  we  stay  in  His  word

Our  knowledge  will  grow

 

As  you  read  the  word

His  voice  comes  through

Understand  this  is  personal

Between  Jesus  and  you

 

Then  you  will  know

His  truth  you  received

He  opens  your  eyes

So  you  won’t  be  deceived

 

So  read  everyday

It’s  food  for  your  soul

It  joins  you  with  God

Making  you  whole

 

At that day you will know that I am

in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.

These were more fair-minded than those in

Thessalonica, in that they received the word

with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily

to find out whether these things were so.

He’ll  say  God  speaks  to  him

And  he’ll  tell  you  what  he  heard

Put  your  faith  in  me

No  need  to  read  God’s  word

 

You’d  better  do  your  research

To  know  exactly  what  God  said

If  you  put  your  trust  in  man

Know  you’ll  be  misled

 

And will you profane Me among My people for

handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, killing people

who should not die, and keeping people alive who should

not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies?”

When  out  and  about

What  do  you  see

Faces  still  covered

Who  can  they  be

 

Fear  fills  their  hearts

From  a  thing  that’s  not  seen

Government  said  to  be  safe

You  must  quarantine

 

It’s  the  lie  of  all  lies

To  see  who  will comply

And  to  destroy  all  those

Who  dare  to  defy

 

God  warned  us  long  ago

As  in  Noah  and  Lot’s  time

There’d  be  no  morals  or  values

And  governments  filled  with  crime

 

You’ve  turned  your  backs  on  God

And  Satan  has  taken  control

He  doesn’t  care  about  this  world

He  only  wants  your  soul

 

God  told  us  not  to  fear

And  stand  and  do  what’s  right

Expose  their  evil  deeds

By  bringing  them  to  His  light

 

²⁶ For what profit is it to a man if he gains

the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what

will a man give in exchange for his soul?

MATTHEW 16:26

 

¹⁹ And this is the condemnation, that the light has come

into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light,

because their deeds were evil. ²⁰ For everyone practicing

evil hates the light and does not come to the light,

lest his deeds should be exposed.

NO FOOD FOR YOU

The  word  of  God  is  solid  food

They  don’t  want  you  to  pursue

They  want  to  keep  you  in the  dark

So  their  lies  don’t  show  through

 

If  you  seek  God’s  word  not  theirs

Know  they’ll  turn  on  you

They’ll  have  to  force  you  out

So  God’s  spirit  can’t  shine  through

 

They’ll  give  you  a  little  milk

A  drink  here  and  there

But  all  of  God’s  scriptures

They  never  will  declare

 

They’ll  make  it  sound  so  righteous

They’re  using  God  you  know

Exploiting  you  with  deceptive  words

Leading  to  death  row

 

1 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because

of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of

disobedience. 2 Therefore do not be partakers with them.

EPHESIANS 5 : 6, 7

 

13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled

in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But

solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is,

those who by reason of use have their senses

exercised to discern both good and evil.

HEBREWS  5 : 13, 14

By covetousness they will exploit you with

deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has

not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.
