HAPPY  EVER  AFTER

 

Because of God’s promise

It’s just a matter of time

A happy ever after ending

I know I’ll have mine

 

The holidays seem so empty

Since you’ve been gone

To be with you again

It’s what I’m waiting upon

 

God knows my heart

And He hears my prayers

I know in time

My heart He’ll repair

 

Holding my memories of you

My lonely heart yearns

But soon it will be whole

When Jesus returns

 

He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.
