THAT MOMENT

You  said  just  a  minute

You  just  wait  and  see

There’s  plenty  of  time

For  you  and  me

You  took  it  for  granted

They’ll  always  be  here

You  just  didn’t  know

That  their  time  was  near

We  wish  we  had  taken

That  moment  you  see

How  could  we  have  known

You’d  be  leaving  me

I  knew  time  was  passing

This  I  was  told

But  I  just  couldn’t  imagine

You  growing  old

You  raised  me,  you  loved  me

You  gave  me  your  all

Now  in  my  prayers

It’s  God  tell  mom  I  called

Whereas you do not know what will

happen tomorrow.  For what is your

life?  It is even a vapor that appears

for a little time and then vanishes away.
