A CALLING

A  CALLING

A calling from God

Is what he received

To teach God’s word

Is what he believed

Into God’s church

God’s people would come

To learn His word

From this blessed one

But the board said no

That’s not our doctrine here

It’s time they remember

It’s God they should fear

Don’t take for granted

This man God sent

He’s teaching God’s word

As he was meant

The pastor is head of

God’s church on this earth

For God ordained him

Before his birth

If you knew God’s word

You’d know that it’s true

The pastor’s serving God

Not just you

And we know that all things work together

for good to those who love God, to those

who are the called according to His purpose.
