THERE’S A NEED

THERE’S  A  NEED

In this day and age

It’s hard to believe

That there’s so many orphans

Do to war and disease

These little ones are starving

Living on garbage in the street

There are organizations helping

It’s a need they have to meet

 

Jesus said, what you do to them

Know you did it to Me

Are we letting Jesus suffer

For the world to see

To lose your parents

And all their love

A child lonely and hungry

God sees from above

If it’s God you love

You know you must give

God said these are My children

They need you to live

It doesn’t take much

When we all lend a hand

To stop children starving

Throughout the land

You can stay at home

Volunteers will go

To feed the children

God loves so

“And the King will answer and say to them,

“Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did

it to one of the least of these My brethren,

you did it to Me.”
