You hear them cry

Separation of church and state

It’s you they want silent

With your Christian faith

 

They don’t want your morals

As corrupt as they are

They deceive and lie

Thinking they’ll go far

 

With your Christian values

They can’t let you in

They want control

And they’ll lie to win

 

As Christians and citizens

It is your right

Get involved in politics

To do good in God’s sight

 

Now when they cry

Separation of church and state

They’re stealing our rights

And also your faith

 

We need to stand up

Put evil in its place

If you’re called into politics    

  Serve by God’s grace

 

 

For you brethren have been called to liberty,

only do not use liberty as an opportunity

for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
