ONLY A DROP

ONLY  A  DROP

 

When  it  comes  to  man

A  need  to  learn

He  believes  with  knowledge

Respect  he’ll  earn

 

But  as  he  learns

What  was  man’s  cost

The  wisdom  of  God

Is  what  man  lost

 

He  thinks  he’s  empowered

And  wants  God  out

And  what  he  speaks  of

He  knows  nothing  about

 

But  through  Christ  Jesus

All  is  obtained

For  only  through  God

Wisdom  is  gained

 

For  the  knowledge  God  gives

He  fills  us  to  the  top

Compared  to  what  God  knows

We  only  hold  a  drop

 

“Talk no more so very proudly;

Let no arrogance come from

your mouth, For the Lord is the

God of knowledge; And by Him

actions are weighed.

1 SAMUEL  2 : 3

 

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
