HUMILITY THEY LACK

HUMILITY  THEY  LACK

 

They  don’t  realize

Their  sin  of  pride

Off  of  God’s  children

They  take  a  free  ride

 

They  say  it’s  God’s  blessing

For  all  to  observe

Receiving  wealth  and  jets

They  say  they  deserve

 

They  tell  of  good  works

Patting  themselves  on  the  back

In  their  self  justification

It’s  humility  they  lack

 

The  proud  will  become  servants

Their  pride  God  will  crumble

On  the  day  of  the  Lord

God  give  His  grace  to  the  humble

 

Let another man praise you, and

not your own mouth; A stranger,

and not your own lips.

PROVERBS  27 : 2

 

11 “But he who is greatest among you shall be your

servant. 12 “And whoever exalts himself will be humbled,

and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

MATTHEW  23 : 11, 12

 

But He gives more grace. Therefore

He says: “ God resists the proud,

But gives grace to the humble.”
