IT’S  GOD  THEY  BETRAY

 

They  want  what  they  want

They  burn  with  fire

A  moment  of  pleasure

Is  all  they  desire

 

For  the  lust  of  the  flesh

They’ll  walk  away

Without  God’s  love

Their  hearts  decay

 

The  lust  of  their  eyes

Is  luring  them  in

Choosing  hell  over  heaven

To  live  in  their  sin

 

For  the  lusts  of  this  world

It’s  God  they  betray

But  they’ll  stand  before  Him

On  judgment  day

 

5 But in accordance with your harden and your

impenitent heart you are treasuring for yourself

wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the

righteous judgment of God, 6 who “will render

to each one according to his deeds”:
