Father  in  heaven

Bless  this  day

Let  your  Holy  Spirit

Guide  my  way

 

In  the  good  times  and  bad

You’ve  walked  me  through

For  each  step  I  take

Leads  me  to  You

 

But  all  of  these  feelings

Try  to  lead  me  astray

If  I  trust  in  them

It’s  me  they  betray

 

You  are  the  only  one

With  all  my  heart  I’ll  trust

When  You  direct  my  path

I  know  it’s  right  and  just

 

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding;

6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall direct your path.
