HOW FORGIVING
Everyone Jesus touched
He healed them everyone
Religious leaders of that time
Couldn’t recognize God’s Son
They heard Him and saw it
Yet they refused to believe
Because of self-seeking and envy
They truth they couldn’t receive
Wanting all the honor and glory
They saw Jesus as a threat
That the people may follow Him
That made them so upset
They began to plot against Him
A way to make Him gone
Getting Pilate to do their dirty work
On the cross He was nailed upon
How forgiving is our God
His love He never withdrew
Jesus response to what you did
Forgive them they know not what they do
When the sun was setting,
all those who had any that were
sick with various diseases
brought them to Him; and He laid
His hands on every one of
them and healed them.
LUKE 4:40
For he knew that they had
handed Him over because of envy.
MATTHEW 27:18
27 When morning came, all the
chief priests and elders of the people
plotted against Jesus to put
Him to death. 2 And when they had bound
Him, they led Him away and
delivered Him to Pontius Pilate the governor.
