ON THE SHELF

ON  THE  SHELF

 

God  said  do  on  to  others

As  you  want  others  to  do  for  you

Have  you  ever  considered

For  Him  what  would  you  do

 

Then  you  wonder  why

Your  day  is  filled  with  strife

And  as  it  beats  you  down

You  struggle  through  your  life

 

If  God  you  will  not  seek

Don’t  blame  Him  on  your  mess

Deep  down  you  know  the  truth

It’s  your  unwillingness

 

Your  just  to  busy  to  read  

Refusing  to  give  of  yourself

When  it  comes  to  God

You’ve  left  Him  on  the  shelf

 

What  a  place  for  God

He  belongs  in  your  heart

Just  open  yours  to  Him

It’s  a  good  place  to  start

 

Then they cry out to the Lord

in their trouble,

And He brings them out of

their distresses.

PSALM  107 : 28

 

For where your treasure is,

there your heart will be also.
