DO NOT FORSAKE
THE ASSEMBLING
We live in a foreign land
And weep for the
church
Our church was taken away
By a foreigners hand
The saddest part of all
In fear the churches
complied
They never even questioned
That this government had
lied
Some churches refused to obey
They stood on God’s
word
Is it that the others churches
God’s word they never
heard
Do not forsake the assembling
To encourage one
another
Know this foreign government
God’s word they want
to smother
Our citizenship is in heaven
It’s God we must obey
For if you believe in Jesus
We’ll be returning
home one day
Rescue me and deliver me from the hand of
foreigners, Whose mouth speaks lying words, And
whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood—
PSALM 144:11
6 So we may boldly say:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.

I will not fear.
What can man do to me?”
HEBREWS 13:6
25 not forsaking the assembling
of ourselves together,
as is the manner of
some, but exhorting one another,
and so much the more as you
see the Day approaching.
HEBREWS 10:25
29 But Peter and the other
apostles answered and said:
“We ought to obey God rather
than men.
ACTS 5:29
20 For our citizenship is in
heaven, from which we also
eagerly wait for the Savior,
the Lord Jesus Christ,
