LIFT THOSE VEILS

LIFT  THOSE  VEILS

 

If  it’s  God  you  seek

Open  your  eyes

These  men  who  oppress

It’s  God  they  despise

 

For  God  gave  to  all

The  gift  of  freewill

These  men  come  along

It’s  fear  they  instill

 

The  woman  they  cover

And  kept  in  the  dark

You  can’t  see  God’s  love

Not  even  a  spark

 

They’ve  silenced  the  Christians

For  they  know  they  are  right

We  know  there’s  no  darkness

For  Christ  is  true  light

 

If  it’s  freedom  you  seek

Jesus  said  come  to  Me

Women  take  off  those  veils

With  Jesus  your  free

 

“Therefore if the Son makes you free,

you shall be free indeed.
