LOOK TO THE FUTURE

LOOK  TO  THE  FUTURE

 

We  grieve  and  we  mourn

For  the  ones  we  love

For  they’ve  left  this  earth

For  heaven  above

 

They  soared  up  to  heaven

To  be  with  the  Lord

Forever  with  Jesus

Their  promised  reward

 

We  hold  to  God’s  promise

They’re  not  in  our  past

For  Jesus  is  coming

We’ll  see  them  at  last

 

As  we  look  to  the  future

We  know  they’ll  be  there

When  Jesus  comes  back

We’ll  meet  in  the  air

 

Blessed are those who mourn,

for they shall be comforted.

MATTHEW  5 : 4

 

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven

with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the

trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up

together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in

the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
