THE LIGHT SHINES
AGAIN
As the
sun starts to set
I look
to the sky
Shades of
red it’s painted
I’ve wondered
why
The scene
seems so perfect
I can’t
take it all in
Could it
be a glimpse
of heaven
My heart
longs to win
There is
such a peace
As I
look to the
sky
Then all
goes dark
And I
remember why
For sin
enter the world
And the
darkness came in
Thank God
for Jesus
The light shines again
Then Jesus spoke to them again,
saying, “I am the light of the world.
He who follows Me shall not walk
in darkness, but have the light of life.”
