COMPASSION
You see
a drug addict
How low
can one go
What they’ve
done to themselves
Do you
think they don’t
know
Did they
do it to
fit in
Or to
ease some pain
In this
crazy world
Did it
make them feel
sane
When you
look at them
You’ll see
what drugs cost
Now see
what Jesus sees
He said
I came for
the lost
Now I
look a little
closer
There’s a
light that I see
With a
heart of compassion
Jesus said
look for Me
For when
you reach out
to others
You never
know who you’ll
meet
You may
see a drug
addict
But it’s Jesus you’ll greet
But God demonstrates His own love
toward us, in that while we were still
sinners, Christ died for us.
