PRELUDE TO COME
They mark
up their bodies
I wondered
why
They are
permanently mark
To the
day they die
I thought
how strange
What could
this be
Could it
be a prelude
Of what
we will see
For we
know he is
coming
Don’t get
caught in his
wake
To buy
or to sell
His mark
they must take
He’s training
them now
How easy
it is
But if
you take his
mark
You’ll always be his
‘You shall not make any cuttings in your
flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any
marks on you: I am the Lord.
LEVITICUS 19:28
“And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and
ever; and they have no rest day or night, who
worship the beast and his image, and whoever
receives the mark of his name.”
