THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS

 

For the sins of the people

Judgment will come

It will fall on all

Not just some

 

Parts will get floods

Others no rain

And there’ll be droughts

And hurricanes

 

For the Day of the Lord

The earth groans and shakes

These are the beginning of sorrows

Bringing great earthquakes

 

Know God’s children

This they’ll not face

For when this happens

They’ll be safe in His place

 

Then come God’s wrath

After these sorrows

If you don’t know Jesus

There’ll be no tomorrows

 

⁷ For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom

against kingdom. And there will be famines,

pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

⁸ All these are the beginning of sorrows.

MATTHEW 24:7-8    

 

and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He

raised from the dead,  even Jesus who

delivers us from the wrath to come.

1 THESSALONIANS 1:10      

 

And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be

saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.
