THEY TAKE

THEY TAKE

They turned from God

For the things they lust for

They’ve turned to the government

Free stuff they can score

So they don’t want to work

For what they need

They scream they’re entitled

With their self-centered greed

The things of this life

Are what they lust for

But they don’t want to work

It’s to much of a chore

So they take from others

And for that they will pay

When they stand before Him

On Judgment-day

For all of God’s children

They have always known

That’s why they work

To take care of their own

nor did we eat anyone’s bread free of charge,

but worked with labor and toil night and day, that

we might not be a burden to any of you,

2 THESSALONIANS 3:8

10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this:

If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. 11 For we hear that

there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner,

not working at all, but are busybodies. 12 Now those who are

such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ

that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.

2 THESSALONIANS 3:10-12

But if anyone does not provide for his own, and

especially for those of his household, he has denied

the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
